Carib Newswire Launches to Connect Caribbean Organizations with Journalists and Media Outlets Across the Region

CHRISTIANSTED, U.S. Virgin Islands — Carib Newswire, a new press distribution platform focused on the Caribbean and its global diaspora, officially launches today, introducing a centralized system for sharing news and announcements with media across the region.

Founded by communications professional Keva D. Muller, the platform is designed to improve the distribution of information among Caribbean organizations and media professionals by offering targeted, region-specific distribution.

Carib Newswire will provide a centralized newsroom for press releases and enable distribution based on island, region, and audience. The platform aims to address longstanding gaps in access and visibility for Caribbean stories across both local and diaspora markets.

“There is a need for a more connected and efficient way to share news across the Caribbean,” Muller said. “This platform is designed to make that process more accessible and intentional for both organizations and media.”

The platform launches with a growing network of journalists and media professionals representing more than 20 Caribbean territories, creating new opportunities for organizations to increase the visibility and reach of their announcements.

“Carib Newswire fills a critical gap in the region’s media landscape. By giving journalists timely, verified information from across the Caribbean, it strengthens our ability to report with accuracy and depth. A platform like this supports better journalism and a better‑informed public,” said Clint Chan Tack, veteran Caribbean journalist with 27 years of experience and former Senior Journalist at Trinidad and Tobago Newsday.

Organizations can submit press releases directly through the platform, while journalists and media professionals may register to receive access to regional announcements and news opportunities at no cost.

As part of its launch, Carib Newswire is inviting organizations throughout the Caribbean to participate as Founding Content Partners by submitting recent press releases, announcements, event updates, and organizational news for publication.
